Honoring the sacrifices of the Military, First Responders, Police, Firefighters, EMT’s & Sheriff’s Deputies make daily, and without hesitation. Front Line Cigars does, and will donate a portion of the profits to Help The Hero’s Foundation, a 501c3 organization. Giving back to those who serve!
This Dominican hand rolled, Robusto is a medium bodied, but full flavored cigar. Looked to be very well constructed, and the band is killer! Very catchy to the eye! With it, I used a straight cut as usual. The cold draw boasted notes of earth and creamy spice. I toasted the foot to ensure an even burn.
In the first third, I tasted the earthiness and creamy spice(almost like a cinnamon all-spice) that was in the cold draw. It did light well and had an even burn that produced quite a bit of light blue smoke. Which I thought was ironic given this particular brand of cigars. Very fitting, don’t you think?
In the second third, the earthiness and creamy spice were still there, but there was a note of leather that came into play. As well as a nuttiness on the retrohale.
In the final third, all of those flavors as before were still there, but a progression of black pepper dominated as I finished this cigar. This cigar paired very nicely with my “go to” But would equally be nice with a cold beer, or some nice Bourbon or Scotch.
This cigar is a “must have” in your humidors, and would be an amazing every day smoke!
