Comfortably Numb Cigars by Espinosa

Introducing Espinosa’s Comfortably Numb Cigars! Both vol. 1 and vol. 2 of the Comfortably Numb Cigars are manufactured by Cuban native Erik Espinosa. Before releasing the Comfortably Numb Cigars, Espinosa worked as a factory manager, cigar store owner, and eventually went on to buy his own factory in Esteli, Nicargua and release the Comfortably Numb Cigars.

Inspired by the song, Comfortably Numb Cigars are banded with psychedelic labels that represent the infamous period the song was released. As the popular song goes, “I have become comfortably numb.” While vol. 1 of the Comfortably Numb Cigar has a bold band, vol. 2 of the Comfortably Numb Cigar is decorated with a bright wrapper.

Both volumes of the Comfortably Numb Cigar are manufactured in Esteli, Nicargua. While vol. 2 of the Comfortably Numb is rather new, it was released after the successes of the initial Comfortably Numb Cigar. While different, both volumes of Comfortably Numb Cigars are medium to full-bodied cigars. Furthermore, both cigars have Earthy notes.

Comfortably Numb Cigars

Both volumes of the Comfortably Numb cigar have an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper that is Cuban seeded. While Espinosa keeps the binder of Comfortably Numb Cigars a secret, both volumes contain long-filler Nicaraguan tobacco. Contrasting vol. 1, vol 2 of Comfortably Numb Cigars also contains Honduran Ligero. The addition of Honduran Ligero long-filler tobacco gives the Comfortably Numb vol. 2 cigar its own unique flavor profile. Furthermore, both volumes of Comfortably Numb Cigars are sold in toro size 6x52.

Flavors of Comfortably Numb Cigars

Vol. 1 of Comfortably Numb Cigars is characterized by notes of oak, wood, leather, and sweetness. Some also say they taste mild notes of coffee and creaminess with the vol. 1 of the Comfortably Numb Cigar. In contrast, vol. 2 also has notes of wood, leather, oak, and sweetness. However, vol. 2 of Comfortably Numb Cigars also has these flavors, they are known for being much bolder, like the cigar’s wrapper. While vol. 1 of the Comfortably Numb Cigar has been heavily reviewed, vol. 2 is relatively new.
